Pontiac, MI, May 24, 2007 -

Get the latest news on Wireless Oakland at the Royal Oak Public Library on Tuesday, June 5, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Dave Thomas, Chief Operating Officer of Michtel, the company behind the project, will answer questions about how to use wireless access, its limitations, and advanced options.

Wireless Oakland, the project to blanket all of Oakland County with wireless Internet service, is now available in much of Royal Oak. The pilot area is between I-696 & 12 Mile Road and Woodward & I-75. Citizens will receive postcards in the mail when service is available in their area.
