SOFTWARE SETTINGS

These are the settings you will need to enter for your Internet-based software (such as browsers, E-mail readers, etc.) will need to work with your MichTel service. You can print this page right now and store it somewhere near your computer, for further assistance.

It is very important that you have your software configured correctly. If you don't, your software may stop working at a later date as we upgrade our services, even if it is working correctly now.

It is important, also, to use your complete E-mail address as your user name in the dialer when you log on to MichTel. We offer several different domains (i.e., bignet.net; mich.com; michtel.com etc.), and there may be a customer on another domain with the same name as yours; our computers cannot identify you without your complete address.

In the following table, replace [your user ID] with your login ID, and replace [your domain] with your domain ("bignet.net", "michtel.com", etc. If you log in, your exact settings will be shown, with your correct user id and domain settings shown here.
